Pratha Muffin / Roti Bom

Another Indian-influenced flatbread, made from dough and egg. Roti Bom is a smaller but thicker variant of the paratha and traditionally served as a sweet snack. Stuffed with margarine and sugar, the dough is wound into a tight spiral and then fried. Malaysian Roti Bom is often enjoyed with ‘Pandan Kaya’, a sweet, green coconut spread but it can also be enjoyed with other sweet spreads like jam. 

Our paratha muffin range comes with a selection of yummy sweet fillings such as chocolate and butterscotch. Our plain Paratha Muffin, however, lacks this sweet infusion and can be enjoyed with both savoury and sweet flavours. We liken it to English muffin with is often enjoyed as part of a breakfast.
