          ‘Lets Bring Authentic Home’

PA is our flagship brand comprising all of our pre-prepared frozen pastry products. PA provides both convenience and authentic taste for a global audience.

        • PA Flatbread – Filled, folded, layered or rolled; flatbreads of all types can be enjoyed day or night in the ‘Mamaks’ of Malaysia. Now available for a global audience.
          • Roti Pratha – The simple but flavourful paratha (or ‘pratha’) is a traditional Indian breakfast and teatime snack and one of our best sellers. Paratha goes well both savoury and sweet flavours. ‘Paratha’ literally means ‘layers of cooked dough’ and it’s this layering of dough which gives paratha its unique taste and texture. Enjoyed and adapted by many throughout Southeast Asia, Malaysian paratha is a unique mix of flakey crunch and buttery softness. The taste balances between the sweetness of the sugar and saltiness of the butter. Preparation of our frozen paratha is convenient and fast. There’s no need to defrost, and it requires no added oil for cooking. Paratha’s versatility means it can be used in countless ways. Whether it’s part of a healthy wrap, pizza base or pie crust, it only takes a few minutes cooking to fill your stomach and fulfil your craving. And to add the cooking possibilities, we have a wide variety of paratha to suit everyone’s preference.
          • Chapati – Chapati is an unleavened flatbread originating from Indian and a staple in ‘Mamak’ restaurants throughout Malaysia. Made with flour and water, Chapati’s ancient history goes back to the earliest of human civilisations. Our affordable and simple to prepare chapati’s can be easily spotted by the signature bubbles that form in the cooking process. Chapati can be enjoyed with a variety of savoury sauces.
          • Naan – Naan is another Asian bread with deep historical roots, however, Malaysia’s Naan has roots primarily stem from its Indian subculture, with Malaysian street Naan typically being cooked using the radiant heat of a traditional tandoori ‘clay’ oven. Dense and chewy in texture, Naan is ideal for soaking up rich and spicy sauces. Our Naan’s use a special blend of flour for a taste and texture that is defined by its gorgeous pillowy insides, crisp exterior and distinctive charred flavour.
        • PA Steamed Bun – Lovingly baked and frozen for convenience, enjoyed by all generations and cultures as part of a meal or as a quick bite.
          • Steam Bun – The humble bun (locally known as ‘Pau’) is where it all started for us. Stuffed with deliciously savoury and sweet fillings, our frozen buns are too good to be kept as a secret.
Traditionally eaten during breakfast with Chinese tea, today it is enjoyed at all times of day by all peoples and is one of Malaysians’ all-time favourite snacks.
You can spot a PAFood ‘Pau’ from its snow white colour and bouncy soft dough. Biting into the fluffy dough reveals our delicious fillings, cooked in small batches to maintain high-quality control and flavourful taste. It is all about the meticulous process that makes steam buns one of the most highly regarded in the market.
          • Mini Steam Bun – We produce our miniature buns with the same meticulous care and attention as their larger cousins. Each mouthful of mini buns contains the same delicious textures and flavours that customers expect. These smaller portions are ideal for children or can be used at parties and gathering as a yummy snack.
          • Sandwich Bun – Like their western counterparts, Asian sandwich buns (also known as ‘Hirata’ or ‘Gua Bou’) allows you to decide on the fillings. When steamed, these buns are light, fluffy and absolutely delicious. Our buns have a reputation for maintaining a perfectly smooth, authentic finish that few manufacturers can match.
          • Mantou – Mantou’s origins stretch back to ancient north China, where in those days it was considered a luxury product. Today, it is a common street snack and yet another example of Chinese influence on Malaysian food culture. Mantou is a fluffy dough bun characterised by its spiral formation. Like its other oriental bun counterparts, Mantou taste and texture can be described as light and soft with a natural sweetness. However, they can also be deep fried as well as steamed.
          • Oriental Buns – Aside from the common Malaysians steamed buns snacks we have available, we have expanded our range to include several additional traditional Chinese favourites including the Flower Roll (花捲/卷), Silver Roll (银丝卷) and Longevity Roll (寿桃).
        • PA Finger Food – Bite-size snacks or appetisers that are an ideal choice for any occasion, whether it be fun-filled parties or heartwarming gatherings.
          • Spring Roll – A classic Chinese snack and staple of Chinese takeaways around the world. Even Malaysia’s food culture is heavily influenced by this fried snack archetype. The spring roll global success lies in its customisation of delicious fillings and pastry wrapping. PAFood’s crispy rendition would be recognisable to a global audience and what we consider the quintessential spring roll. Using small batch cooking techniques, our filling is individually hand wrapped for premium taste and quality.
          • Samosa – Samosa can truly be described as a global food, with origins in central Asia, the Indian style of Samosa is probably the most widely known interpretation. Our crispy samosas are hand prepared, and perfect for social gatherings or as a convenient snack.
          • Curry Puff – You will find curry puff on nearly every street corner in Malaysia, commonly sold in both Malay and Indian food stalls. Recognisable by its semicircle shape with a crescent of pinched pastry, the texture and taste of pastry itself can vary slightly depending on the recipe, with some puffs using layered crust for a flakey finish. Our curry puff range includes both styles of commonly seen pastry puff techniques, with a traditional puff and a premium layered puff.
          • Tofu Puff – Tofu Puffs are deep fried cubed bean curd, and a commonly added garnish in Malaysian noodle dishes. The deep frying process makes the bean curd dough absorbent with hollow pockets formed by air bubbles. Our tofu puffs are light and spongy in texture and perfect for soaking up the flavours of rich and spicy Malaysian noodle broths.
          • Glutinous Rice Ball – A traditional chinese glutinous rice dish. Glutinous Rice Balls (Tangyuan) is a dessert that made from a combination of glutinous rice flour, water and often a sweet filling. Boiled to serve ineither a hot broth or syrup. They are traditionally eaten during the Chinese lantern festival and winter solstice. However, this sweet snack can also be enjoyed throughout the year as a warm and welcoming treat. Our range is available in a variety of sweet flavours including Malaysia’s famous Gula Melaka – palm sugar coconut.
        • PA Dim Sum – Dim Sum is a collection of savoury and sweet mini dishes originating from China. Best enjoyed by Malaysians in the company of family and friends.
          • Sesame Ball – Crispy on the outside, satisfyingly chewy on the inside, Chinese fried Sesame Balls origins go back over 1000 years. In that time it has grown to become a favourite and much-beloved sweet snack for people all over Asia. Our recently improved recipe continues to build on that great legacy… and great taste!
          • Shumai – Shumai (known locally as Siew Mai) is a type of traditional Chinese dumpling usually eaten as a part of a Dim Sum meal, however it can also be alone as a snack. Juicy and satisfying to bite into, Shumai can contain either meat or fish, however our range includes different flavours of chicken and a seafood flavour.
          • Lo Mai Gai – Another traditional addition to a Chinese Dim Sum meal, Loh Mai Gai is a glutinous, sticky rice dish topped with chicken, mushroom and vegetable. It is often enjoyed for breakfast and brunch. Although it is of Cantonese origin, our version is a Malaysian and Singaporean variation of the classic snack dish.
