Shumai

Shumai (known locally as Siew Mai) is a type of traditional Chinese dumpling usually eaten as a part of a Dim Sum meal, all steamed together. However, it can also be eaten alone as a snack in personal steamers (or even microwaves) at home.

You can easily find Dim Sum breakfast restaurants filled to the brim with customers on busy mornings. Juicy and satisfying to bite into and easily spotted in the traditional bamboo steamer baskets by its bright yellow pastry wrapping. Shumai can contain either meat or fish, however, our range also includes different flavours of chicken such as the mushroom chicken or black pepper chicken.
